This brief discusses how the Windows Built-in Disk Defragmenter was originally designed as a band-aid for low active systems and, although it has evolved, Diskeeper® and V-locity® have evolved leaps and bounds in this same time period to keep up with the ever-evolving technologies, such as Virtualization and the huge growth demands for storage capacity.
